About Me
I am a well-versed designer with a background in men’s & women’s outerwear, men’s sportswear, denim & workwear. Proven leadership and independent roles working with diverse design teams. With a range working for start-up & established brands, I’ve maintained focus on customer aesthetic and offering innovative ideas. My experience in garment manufacturing and sourcing are credited to being well traveled & working with overseas product teams.
Through-out my career I’ve been fortunate to experience many facets of fashion design. The technical side, understanding garment construction & fit. The production side, ensuring all garment components stay on schedule to meet deliveries. The marketing side, contributing ideas and artworks for packaging, look books & photoshoots. And my absolute favorite- Initial concept development for each season, the trend research, travel and new style/trim/fabric developments.
My outlook for fashion design going forward is continuously utilizing the technological resources available for design developments and supporting sustainable ways of manufacturing. Staying relevant to market and trend, but also maintaining one’s design point of view for brand identity and evolution.
